Well, I have finally started the revision phase of The Gray Ones (home life got real hectic with our move back home We are safe and sound now.) I have decided to dissect my revision process by reading my novel in it’s entirety and take notes.
So far, so good. I have further dissected my “reading assignments” based on the Days that the novel is broke up in.
Instead of chapters, I broke the story into Days…Day 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. I wanted the story to be truly reflect the course of time that it takes Daniel come uncover things and discover things about his life.
I am currently reading DAY 0 and I have almost two pages worth of notes and I am almost done with the day.
Once I have completed notes for all 6 (technically) days, I will review my notes and then begin a purging process. But for now, it’s reading time for me.
I have decided not to begin my query process either, until I am absolutely sure that I am ready to pitch my book and that my book is ready (at least 85%) to be pitched.
This is quite a journey but I am ready to make my dreams a reality. I am also thinking my plans for Book 2…yeah, I want to work on a sequel to The Gray Ones…I also think I wanna come up with a better name for my novel too. Lol.
Oh well. One think at a time right?
Until next time all!
Stay blessed and stay tuned!
